Our goal is simple. To help public safety, first responder, and front line service workers and their loved ones get to, and stay on, the other side of broken.
Professional Speaking and Training Sessions
We offer an assortment of presentations aimed at a variety of audiences, both first responder/military and civilian.
Brian offers presentations detailing his journey through PTS and mental health, and on the leadership lessons he learned during that journey.
Brian and Cathy, speaking together, are able to offer two different yet complementary perspectives on living with a first responder with trauma, how to bring your marriage back from the edge, and how to cope as a family with PTS.
Cathy is certified as a counsellor with the Ontario Association of Consultants, Counsellors, Psychometrists and Psychotherapists. She works exclusively with the families, spouses, and partners of first responders and military personnel.
She offers her clients a combination of 20+ years as an educator and lived experience of of a spouse who watched her police officer husband become a virtual stranger to her.
Cathy offers a free one-hour initital consultation and can conduct appointments in person, by phone, or via Skype/Zoom.
Don't suffer in silence. Speak with a caring and compassionate professional who understands the unique challenges and pride involved with loving someone who wears a uniform for a living.
Brian and Cathy have shared their story with many media outlets across Canada, acting as inspiration for other couples coming to terms with the trauma in their marriage.
In addition, Brian has been asked to provide expert opinion on mental health in the first responder world by media agencies including the Toronto Star, CTV, CBC, City TV, AM 640 Toronto, the Canadian HR Reporter, Metroland Media, and Chatham-Kent MPP Rick Nicholls (for debate on WSIB Presumptive Legislation).
